- Mastery of PHP, with deep expertise in design patterns, performance optimization, memory management, and writing highly efficient code.
- Designing and architecting complex backend systems, including load balancing, data partitioning, and asynchronous processing.
- Database optimization and query tuning, designing complex data models, and implementing advanced database replication and sharding strategies. Knowledge of MySQL and non-relational databases.
- Building secure and scalable APIs, implementing OAuth 2.0 for authorization, and designing webhooks and event-driven APIs for real-time data processing.
- Security architecture and knowledge of threat modelling, implementing multi-factor authentication, and help with conducting security audits and compliance assessments.
- Microservices design and architecture, implementing event sourcing, and utilising tools for service mesh and tracing for debugging and performance optimization.
- Leading code quality initiatives, defi ning coding standards, and establishing best practices across the development team.
- Exceptional communication skills for eff ective collaboration with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clear technical documentation.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving complex technical challenges, debugging issues, and proposing innovative solutions.
- Proven ability to make architectural decisions, and drive technical direction.
- Ability to align technical decisions with business goals, anticipate future needs, and contribute to long-term technology strategy.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and mentor team members, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
