As our Engineering Manager, you’ll play a dual role: a technical leader guiding architectural decisions and engineering best practices, and a people leader who mentors, supports, and grows a high-performing team. You’ll work closely with leadership, product, and design to deliver scalable software solutions while fostering a collaborative, learning-focused culture.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead and manage a cross-functional team of engineers across backend and frontend domains.
  • Act as a hands-on coach and mentor, helping junior and mid-level engineers grow in their careers.
  • Drive technical vision, system design, and implementation across the stack.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align engineering efforts with business goals.
  • Implement and uphold engineering best practices including code quality, test automation, CI/CD, and performance monitoring.
  • Support architectural decisions related to APIs, cloud infrastructure, data handling, and AI integration.
  • Facilitate agile processes, sprint planning, and team retrospectives.
  • Ensure seamless collaboration between frontend and backend teams for cohesive product delivery.

This is where we start

  • 7+ years of experience in software engineering, including at least 2+ years in an engineering leadership or management role.
  • Full-stack technical proficiency, with deep understanding of both backend (Python, microservices, Golang, Rust, AWS) and frontend technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, modern frameworks like React).
  • Proven track record of leading and growing engineering teams, especially in smaller, fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent coaching, mentoring, and communication skills — you’re someone who brings out the best in others.
  • Strong architectural and systems design experience, especially around scalable APIs and cloud-native applications.
  • Comfortable with modern development practices including version control, code reviews, continuous integration, and infrastructure automation.
  • Experience working with AI-powered systems or integrating AI/ML into products is a plus.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience in a startup or high-growth tech company.
  • Familiarity with data mesh, data pipelines, and distributed data systems.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD platforms).
